Renetik Music Apps

Challenge

Musicians need responsive tools for recording, mixing, looping, sequencing, MIDI control, and live performance, together with clear product information and practical documentation that makes a large app family approachable.

My Role & Ownership

Own product direction, roadmap, priorities, UX, architecture, implementation, budgets, dependencies, risks, releases, support, documentation, analytics, and feedback-driven iteration across the full product system: Android applications, reusable Kotlin modules, the C++ audio engine, Firebase services, automated tests, and the VuePress website.

Delivery & Engineering

• checkBuilt the current Music Studio, Audio Mixer, Audio Recorder, Audio Looper, Metronome, MIDI Controller, MIDI Sequencer, Piano, Guitar, and Drums applications from shared Kotlin foundations.
• checkDesigned C++ and JNI audio paths for real-time DSP, multitrack playback, recording and overdubbing, effects, sequencing, metronomes, MIDI, instruments, routing, and export.
• checkConsolidated playback around a master audio transport with phase anchors, drift and gap recovery, corrective crossfades, restart and seek handling, and synchronization and soak tests.
• checkConnected Firebase services, Crashlytics, storage, analytics, content delivery, and release-support tooling while maintaining free and full product variants.
• checkBuilt the VuePress 2 and Vite website with custom Vue layouts and components, product pages, tutorials, optimized WebP media, Google Analytics, canonical URLs, sitemap behavior, redirects, and build validation.
• checkIntegrated the generated Music Apps site below /app/ in the combined renetik.com release while keeping the Android, web, and portfolio source histories independent.

Result

The work produced ten current Android music apps with at least 170K combined public Google Play installs as of 2026, backed by a deployed product and support website whose current build validates 49 generated HTML pages.
