I separated operational competition scoring from the larger community application so event devices could run a smaller, stability-focused product. Organizers load competitions and archers, assign targets, scan codes, enter arrows and totals, and synchronize results with the Rcherz platform.

The app combines push delivery with polling and command identifiers to avoid duplicate execution. Remote commands can load users, start or stop sessions, clear or reassign devices, and update scoring state. A foreground synchronization service, boot receiver, wake and keyguard behavior, Wi-Fi awareness, pending-message handling, and offline recovery support long-running outdoor events.

Firebase Cloud Messaging and Amazon Device Messaging support different device fleets, while QR scanning and PIN validation simplify setup. The public Google Play listing remains active with 5K+ downloads as verified in 2026.
