Music Studio combines two connected workflows: an instrument controller for live playing and recording, and a studio sequencer for arranging tracks in a live-looping workflow.

Use built-in synthesizers or imported instruments, record vocals and instruments, resample existing tracks, and control the session from MIDI and audio devices. MIDI sequences can also move into and out of the app.

I designed Music Studio end to end: its product concept, music workflow, information architecture, interaction model, and visual interface. I then implemented the Android experience and took it through testing, release, iteration, and user support.

Music Studio is part of the Renetik Music Apps family and shares its Kotlin application foundations, native C++ audio engine, Firebase services, automated tests, and release workflow.
